Free AI Branding Tools That Work Like Magic

Business without branding is money down the drain. In today’s oversaturated market, having a brand ensures that your business stands out instead of blending in with your many doppelgangers.

Which means, at some point early in your business creation, you’ll want to sit down and build your brand identity.

Your brand identity includes your logo, colors, fonts, and any other visual elements that you want to become associated with your brand.

If design isn’t your forte, the brand identity process can be intimidating to tackle, but luckily there are a lot of free AI branding tools that can help generate design ideas for you.

Namelix - Name Generation & Logo Design

Namelix is a completely free AI branding tool that generates business names. So if you’re stuck on naming your new business, Namelix can be a huge headache-saver.

Even if you’re already past the picking a name stage, that doesn’t mean Namelix can’t help you. That’s because Namelix also generates mockup logo designs.

I recently tested out Namelix myself to see how well it works. I input the keywords “slow fashion, sustainable clothing.” These are some of the results Namelix generated:

Overall, I was pretty impressed. Namelix generates a large amount of names with each batch as well. I actually quit scrolling through the results, because the page just kept on going!

While Namelix is a very useful tool for generating business names and logos, sometimes the results are very similar to existing business names or logos. For example, one result that came up was ‘Clifbar,’ which is a no-no because Clif Bar & Company is a brand that already exists. Another logo that Namelix generated was very similar to the Shopify logo – also making it a no-no.

So, if you pick a business name or logo generated by Namelix, do a few Google searches to make sure the name or logo is not already taken.

Huemint - Color Palettes

Picking the right colors for your brand can be overwhelming, but that’s where a free AI tool like Huemint comes in.

Huemint uses AI to generate cool color palettes for your brand kit. You can use your color palette to create consistent branding across your website, social media, email designs, and more.

Generating color palettes with Huemint is as easy as a click of a button, and it’s actually pretty addictive. In addition to generating basic palettes, you can play around with the website design mockups. The mockups are great tool for getting an idea of how each color palette will actually look when applied to a website.

You can access several Designs.ai features for free, but if you use the tool regularly you will need to upgrade to a paid plan, which starts at $29/month. In my opinion it’s worth the subscription, because you get unlimited designs!

When it comes to building a solid brand kit, AI tools really are your best friend.
